Part of a series of seven pieces carved in Cotswold stone. Inspired by stone needles located around our coastlines, and fragments of lighthouse optics which often ended up being thrown into the surrounding sea when decommissioned.
The name Myrtle refers to one of my aunts. There were seven who survived beyond birth.
